Check your power supply to your screen cause it should at least show a amber light at the screen to show that there is power but no proper signal from the computer.

So below are step to check the power supply to your monitor. Assuming if you use a different monitor on your pc it works

1. Check your fuse both internal and external
2. check if power is receipted by the LCD

HP G42T-200 will not power on post display replacement

Hello,

I suggest that you bring it to a technician. It's hard to identify the problem without looking at it. I'm a technician and I can say that I couldn't really tell the reason.

There are a lot of reasons for that.

Everything seems to work but nothing on the screen at all.

hold down the power lead? not quite sure i understand cause what it sounds like you have to do, is a bit of a jimmy rig. Most likely, in replacing the inverter, and this is uncommon but possible, if you are using the wrong inverter you could have possibly fried the screen(unlikely) or fried the display adapter(more likely). How old is the laptop? When you plug in the other monitor are you making sure to toggle between screens using your keyboard. if so and no picture.....video card is dead....and you are most likely out of luck as the cost to fix is more than the cost to replace the computer.

I dropped my Nikon D 60 and now I get nothing on the LED display. Everything else seems to work.

The display circuitry is compromised, and possibly the screen. I suggest a camera technician to check out your system with an estimate.

My computer won't boot up or something; no power led lit.

Seems to me your Ram module connector is dirty. Clean its edge connector with a soft eraser. Or if it can, transfer it to the next ram bank. Or your memory module is already dead.

Dead pc

try to remove all external device connected to your computer. just leave the keyboad, mouse and monitor connected.
restart computer.
if still a blank screen
remove everything connected to your computer (mouse kyeboard and monitor) restart if nothing happens
open your computer and remove all devices (hard drive, optical drives, memory... restart,,, you should be hearing beeping sounds indicating motherboard is looking for memory. try putting back 1 memory at a time and checking all mem slot. to identify if one of the memory could be causing the blank screen. if both memory will not work try to use known good working memory. if you dont get to hear the beeping sound using a known good working memory. your memory is the problem.
give me more info
