My son dropped his Nintendo DS Lite yesterday afternoon. Since then, the power button on the side does not work. You should be able to slide it up to turn the system on. It still slides but nothing happens. It is fully charged. Is this repairable?

If you want get some tools and take the ds apart.make sure all the pieces are straight and are put together right.if there not straight,make them straight.if there not put together,put them back together.Hope it works.
Components may have come loose on the board, or damaged solder joints. Water damage can sometimes only appear after water has had time to seep, unless knock helped throw some residual water around inside, onto things it shouldn't touch.
