Increasing Speed on Zebra 105sl

Using a Zebra 105SL & Loftware LLM-WIN 9.5.0.0, how can I speed up the printer?

    Yes, print speed.

Thanks, but I press and it does nothing. I can't find the Label & Setup or Label Options tabs.

Someone in our group printed to our machine and it ran fast until we had to power it off, which must have reset something.

I found the command in the Design app. rather than the Print app. I will test that and see if it helps.

If you are refering to print speed, from the label format, press F5 to bring up the LABEL & SETUP PROPERTIES. Click on LABEL OPTIONS and print speed will be the first choice.

If you are refering to how fast data is sent to the printer, then that depends on the connection to the PC and whether you are using true-type fonts or not.

Hope that helps !

We have a Zebra 105SL thermal printer. When I print to it with any application, the data light comes on, but it doesn't print. It has ribbon, media, calibrated, no error lights

The data light indicates that the printer is receiving data. Hold the cancel key for 10 seconds while powering on. This will print printer configuration. Use to troubleshoot. If the data or format is wrong it will not print as you send data. Make sure you are using the 105SL printer driver. To test the printer functionality you can go to www.teklynx.com and download a demo copy of labelveiw, select the 105SL printer and try to print a simple label. If you can print with labelveiw then it is not a printer problem. Double check your driver and label format.

How to install a zebra 105sl printer

Install? Well that could mean a lot of different things. Just plug it up and run the ribbon and labels through their correct paths. I don't know anything about your network. (If you even need to set it up that way.) You can just connect it to the back of your PC. Follow this link. This will tell you all about the specifications of the 105SL. Not really your connections though....... http://www.intermeccorp.com/pdf/105SLusersguide.pdf

I am trying to change the printing speed from 2 ips to 5 ips but it does not retain the change. I have selected to permanently change it and also tried changing it using my browser but it will not change.

If you change the speed setting on the printer, print a label, and the speed setting reverts to a different setting then the print speed is being changed from the printer driver.

Hope that helps !
