I am unable to re-instal canon pixma mp600 on my windows 7 it suddenly stopped working it now has fout RPC unable to connect when I try to re-instal the disc says that it is not compatable for windows 7

You can download "Drivers & Software" for Win7 (32bit & 64Bit) @ http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer/printers_multifunction/pixma_mp_series/pixma_mp600#DriversAndSoftware

Select your OS ie Win7(32bit) or Win7(64bit).

Disconnect the printer from the PC, and delete the printer you have installed & remove all the software previously installed on the PC. Reinstall the download "Drivers & Software".

Hope it helps.

Hope it helps.

How to install the epson stylus TX100 scanner to my computer?

What OS does your computer have? Go to the Epson support site and download the software for your OS: http://tech.epson.com.au/downloads/category.asp?sCategory=Multi_Functional&id=StylusTX100&EmailAdd=&CanEmail=&SelOS=Y&MetricIDReturned=4036965&sCategory1=Multi_Functional and use the drop down menu to choose your OS. (With Windows 7, I know that the drivers are included in the OS so you can skip this step.)

For best results use a direct connection, with a USB cable that is 6' long or shorter.

Install the full software if it is available for your OS. Then when prompted to do so, make sure the printer is on and connect the USB cable between the printer and the computer. If needed, restart the computer.

In the case of Win7 or any other OS with these drivers included, just set up the printer and plug in the data cable. However, if the drivers are not included in the OS, then the printer may work after plugging in the data cable but the scanner probably won't. In that case, uninstall the generic driver, unplug the data cable. Then reboot the computer and install the one from the Epson site.

See the Epson support site for using the printer's software package. Please note that the buttons on the front of the unit will not work for initiating actions on the computer unless the full software is installed. Thus for Windows 7, you will need to launch your scans from the computer. Paint, Windows Fax and Scan and Photo Gallery (in Live Essentials) all can acquire scans. Some of these programs are also available for and will acquire scans in XP and Vista. (Paint is in XP, Vista and Win7; Photo Gallery comes with Vista and is available for XP and Win7; Fax and Scan is in some versions of Vista.)

I hope this helps.

How do I scan a document?

Do you have the full software installed or just the basic driver from Canon? What OS are you using? http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer/printers_multifunction/pixma_mp_series/pixma_mp240#DriversAndSoftware has the software and drivers. If you installed the OS driver, you should uninstall that, disconnect the data cable and then install the driver from Canon. The generic OS driver usually only runs the printer.

Place the document face down on the scanner glass or face up if you have an ADF. Check that the all-in-one and the computer have good bi-directional communication. (Direct USB connection (if you are using that), replace cables if the printer works but not the scanner and the Canon software is installed.)

If you are using the Canon software, you need to set up the destinations for the buttons and have the monitoring software running. Thus start scanning from the computer at first. Launch MP Navigator and then click on the type of document you want to scan. Find the resolution and contrast that works for you. Use these in setting the button defaults (see the manual from Canon). Then click Scan.

Alternately, with Windows XP, Vista and Win7, you can scan with software that came with the OS. Paint is available on all of these OS versions (File > Import from camera scanner > from scanner). Vista includes PhotoGallery which works like Paint (this can be downloaded for XP and Win7). Vista and Win7 also can scan with Windows Fax and Scan (New Scan).

When you have the MP Navigator properly set up, you will be able to launch a scan from the printer. Press the Scan button and the software will launch.

I hope this helps.

I have replaced my XP Computer for a Windows 7 and downloaded the software for my JVC Everio HDD Camcorder GZ-MG36EKM.However a message onscreen says that the camcorder software is incompatible with my new...

If your Windows7 work in x64 operating system, of course it would be incompatibility if you use driver for XP in it, since Windows XP use x32 system, that's where the problem come from (I've faced the same problem sooo many times for several software) . You need to check your OS first (push Windows and Pause Break button together to see it) and make sure which one is your OS, 32 or 64 bit OS? If you have 64 bit OS, for any software that you want to download from internet, you must choose that support 64 bit OS. Some of x32 software still installable in Win7 64 bit, but yes, other software need us to spend some bucks to download them.
If you upgrade your Windows7 you may use XP Mode that allow you to install XP driver or software in Win7 based PC, but once again, ITS NOT FREE !!

Hope this help and be kind to rate please.

Need a driver for Visioneer OneTouch 8700 Flatbed Scanner

The drivers for supported OS versions are available here: http://support.visioneer.com/products/8700/downloads.asp . The supported OS versions are: Windows XP SP 1 / 2000 Professional / Me / 98SE and the additional software that was bundled on the CD is not included.

If you have a different Microsoft OS, you can check the Microsoft compatibility center for either Vidat or Win7. A check of the Win7 compatibility Center http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-7/en-us/default.aspx showed some Visioneer OneTouch scanners work with Win7. However, the 8700F is not in the list.

I hope this helps.

(Dual boot with XP or a virtual computer with an older valid OS version will work. The Win7 Pro and Ultimate let you use Virtual PC and XP mode to run an XP virtual computer for free.)

Autodesk DWG TrueView software cannot be installed in a Windows 7 Professional System

Which version are you using? You may need a newer version due to changes in the Windows OS over time. Autodesk has a 2011 version that is Win7 compatible for all versions of Win7 except the Starter edition. You can download the software from http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/pc/index?id=6703438&siteID=123112 . Fill out the form reached by clicking the download link if you have Win7 Pro 32-bit. Otherwise, click on the link to the 64-bit version for the form to get the correct installer.

I hope this helps.

My installer is not functioning,it cannot read,,so i did not install the printer..can i have a copy of installer

If the CD is damaged, you can download the driver for supported OS versions from Brother. Go to: http://welcome.solutions.brother.com/bsc/public/us/us/en/dlf/download_top.html?reg=us&c=us&lang=en&prod=dcp165c_all and select your OS and your language then press Search. This will lead to a page with the Full Software, basic driver and other tools for the unit.

If your printer shipped with an installer for an older OS, use the above link to get the current version. Due to changes over time, an installer usually doesn't work with a significantly newer OS. (Win2K installers are not generrally compatible with Win7, for example.)

You still want to install the software before connecting the USB data cable. If you do install a generic driver from the OS by getting the order wrong, uninstall the driver and then disconnect the cable before attempting to install the driver from the web site.

I hope this helps.

My computer do not accept the cd to install the software for sdr-h40 hdd camcorder, i get a message saying do not support the software

What OS is the computer running? The software isn't guaranteed to work with 64-bit Windows. (Windows 2000 through Vista are tested. Win 7 is an untested OS)

If you have Win7, you can try running the software in the compatibility mode. Right click on the Installer (.exe) and choose Properties. Click on the Compatibility Tab and check the box for Run this program in compatibility mode and use the drop down menu to select Vista or XP. Then right click again on the installer and choose Run as Administrator.

Another option is to run the software in a virtual computer running a supported OS. Win7 Pro and Ultimate support the XP mode which needs two programs downloaded and installed from Microsoft. Otherwise you need a licensed version of the OS to install in the virtualization program. Then install the camera software inside the virtual computer (as if it was the only computer).

I hope this helps.

(also note that the software does not run on some dual boot systems and may not run properly on multi-CPU systems. Updated software/drivers do not seem to be available on the Panasonic support site.)
