Question about Nokia E63 Cell Phone

1 Answer

My Nokia E63 shut itself off and now, although the battery is fully charged will not start correctly. When the on/off button is pressed the screen glows softly and the keyboard lights up but it won't progress any further. In addition it cannot be switched of using the on/off button. I tried another identical battery from another phone (where it works OK) but the same result. Ian J

My nokia E63 wont start up. the screen just lights up dark for a few seconds and then turns off by itself. i tried charging it, but the square keypad just lights up.

Take the battery, sim card and microSD card out for an hour or so then place the components back in the phone. If this doesn't work, go to www.nokia.com and download the firmware for your phone via instructions on the Nokia web site.
