Check that the PC is not overheating as this will cause the processor to shut down. FSX gives the processor a major workload shifting all those graphics about. Also check what temp the processor is allowed to reach in the bios.

best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I have installed via disk, the FSX missions airbus A321 Luft. I activated the program via the exe and installed it in the correct directory. However the missions do not appear in my Microsoft flight...

Try reinstalling it but let it go to the default directory. FSX doesn't find programs where you place files in a non-default directory. Good luck and happy flying!

Fsx Icon will not save on my desktop

You need to go the FSX directory, find FSX.exe, right-click this icon and drag it to the desktop, release the mouse button and choose "create shortcut here" from the fly-out menu. This will create a proper icon for you.

I been trying to fly i have just sat two hours waiting on the fsx trial version to get done saving what do i do next. also i wannna know how do i fly besides filling out a flight plan.

The trial version is what it is - a trial. MS are not going to allow you to play like the wind when you haven't paid for it. It is the best sim out there, and worth the money. As for flying, it would take more than this forum to teach you that. Try some of the forums like Mycockpit.com for further help and info. FSX does have training aids built in, so try them too.

I successfully installed fsx but cant find the file to play it

Okay. Go to the FSX directory - C:\Program files\Microsoft games\FSX and locate the FSX.exe icon. Using the nouse, right-click the icon, and keep the right mouse button down and drag the icon to the desktop, then release it and choose "create shortcut here" from the fly-out menu. That's it. Then it will add an icon on your desktop which you can use aas normal to play it. Enjoy
