We are having the same problem at the moment, did you find a solution??

  • hr9hr9 Jul 07, 2008

I have the same problem. This has happened before approx 6 month ago before my machine was even 12 month old!!! The engineer fixed it for me and told me that is was because there were so many wires near the motor and it all gets quite hot and the safety mechanism cuts it off before a fire can start etc etc.

I'm the same-i can't find my manual, but looking on the internet other people have had this too and no-one has the answer so it's obviously not in there anyway. My machine smelt as if something had burnt out last night, how safe is that? Has anyone found out the answer yet? Can you replace the parts yourself? How much do they cost?

Hi, my Electrolux EWX12550w washing machine and dryer, working fine on was but when I'm drying it it starts at 13 minutes then keeps working but sticks on 10min also I get an err sign it's E10

Family error code E10 is visible to customers and (could be E11,E12 and E13 only visible in service mode) means problem
with filling water.

I suggest rapid reading alarm code when appliance is in normal operating mode (e.g. during the execution of the washing
programme).
Press and hold down START/PAUSE and the nearest option buttons for at least two seconds: the LEDs initially switch off, and then display the flashing sequence corresponding to the last alarm.
The alarm sequence continues as long as the two buttons are held down.

E11 - Problems with water fill for washing
E12 - Problems with water fill for drying
E13 - Water leakage

I believe there are difficulties in water fill for drying.
Water is necessary in the drying phase in order to cool down the steam entering in the drying condenser.
Possible causes: Tap closed or water pressure too low; Drain tube improperly positioned; Water fill solenoid valve is faulty; Leaks from water circuit on pressure switch; Pressure switch faulty; Wiring faulty; PCB faulty

Hoover washer dryer Error Code E12 during dry programme. How can I fix?

E12 means a problem filling on dry cycle.

Unplug the appliance, take the top off and check that the plastic condenser below the fan is clear and clean.

If this is ok, the most likely fault is the triple valve isn't opening properly to feed water into the condenser.

I need an instruction manual for an Omega WD 1052 washer, please

I have searched everywhere as well, and no luck. I did find a bit of information on it which I have pasted below -- it might help a bit if you want to play around with it.
I would also suggest reading manuals from other wash/dryer machines to get an idea how they work--then maybe you can figure yours out by just pushing the different buttons and seeing what the display says. (At the end of this post, I have pasted a link to a different Omega washer/dryer -- perhaps you could skim it and see if it is at all similar to yours.)

Information About the Omega WD1052.2 washer dryer
THIRTEEN PROGRAMME:
The WD1052.2 is sequentially segmented into thirteen rotary positions for both easy and logical programme selection and for the quick identification of programme progression.

Choose from one of three wash sequences:
Programmes one through five are for the heavily soiled, more colour fast fabrics and daily wear.

Programmes six through to ten look after the slightly soiled, synthetics and for delicate items.

Woollens are exclusively washed on programmes eleven through to twelve.

CONDENSER DRYING:
The WD1052.2 can automatically dry a half a load of washing at the end of the wash programme provided the half load button is selected and a drying time is set on the centre control dial.

At any time the WD1052.2 can be regarded as an independent dryer, that is, a wash programme does not have to proceed into the drying stage. An example would be drying damp clothing or toweling from the bathroom. Simply choose a STOP position after either 5 or 10 on the programme dial. On the centre dial choose either full heat, the pink zone, or half heat, the green zone.

Another useful variation of the WD1052.2 is the ability to choose final spin only followed automatically by condenser drying. Having completed a hand wash, for instance, simply load the clothing and select final spin, 5 or 10 with the half load button selected and drying time set.

Whenever the WD1052.2 is in the drying mode the load can be easily accessed at any time via the porthole. The drying will automatically resume once the door is reshut.

No heat on tumble dry programme. Display flashed F 13.

You need to replace the heating element for the dryer which is positioned on top of the outer drum. Remove the top cover of the machine and locate the heater.
