Question about Canon PIXMA iP4200 InkJet Photo Printer
Hi there, really hope you can help me i have a canon pixma mp180 and i cant get anything to print because it is continously saying there is a paper jam i have repeatedly checked but can see no paper, or even recall a paper jam whilst i have been using it. please help i need my printer. many thanks
I finally fixed the problem by running two sheets of heavy card stock through at the same time. With the machine off, I positioned the two sheets in the feeder so that they would be pulled in when the printer was turned on. When I turned on the printer, it drew the two sheets through and I guess this reset the paper sensor. I previously found that only one sheet at a time did't work.
I found this solution posted by JsamJr answering another question but it worked for me. pushing the card in and then removing it and pressing ok worked
