Question about Compaq Computers & Internet
First go to Control Panel and the add/remove programs choice to see if it is installed --if it is listed click "remove".
If it is not listed go to the Programs folder and see if it listed there. If so look for "Uninstall" or "unwise" and click it to remove.
If it is not there, go to Start/Search and type in eshield.exe and let search find it for you, then try the "uninstall". If that doesn't work you would be best off downloading Cleanse Uninstaller (free) and "force" uninstall it.
As a last resort you can try deleting it from all the places that Search finds it -- that may stop it from popping up, but it may still leave some files on your system --usually not harmful though. If you need more, post back here.
