On some specific models of notebook, the ADI SoundMAX HD audio driver will not install. To resolve this issue, download and install the Microsoft Universal
Audio Architecture Bus Driver (SP32646, version 1.00, rev. A)
it is a problem with sound Drivers.
You need to download / install the sound drivers which are comfortable with your motherboard configuration in Vista
Also please note most of the motherboards supports Realtek Sound drivers
Make sure the operating system is correct (I have it set to Windows Vista 32bit as default, which your unit should be) and download the only driver for audio located on that list. It says it is a STAC 92XX C-Major HD Audio, which you'll know if that is correct once you download and attempt to install it.
If you have problems installing the driver itself, let us know. Hope that helps!
