Try removing the laptop battery and waiting a minute and then re-installing it. Is the unit able to operate on the ac adapter?

The screen will not come on once I replaced the battry on a 265w garmin

Most likely you have pulled the LCD flex ribbon cable partially out from its socket on the board. There is a locking latch at the connector that must be GENTLY pried up. Pull out the ribbon cable, reseat it into the connector as far as it will go and press down on the latch across the entire surface until you hear it click. Do this with the power off. To insure that the unit is off, disconnect the battery and reconnect it. Do not push the power button until the flex cable has been reseated and locked down.

Dell studio laptop wont start up

Try another Cord/Charger. Has there been any damage? Drop? A pull on the cord while plugged in damaging the AC jack? What happens if you remove the battery and use the AC cord only? Post what happens when you push the on/off switch, Fan spins? LED's Blink? Anything on the screen? Have you reseated the Memory mods, removed and tested the HDD? Tried a System Restore/Recovery? Need more info.

The air condition wont turn on. The windows dont work, and the spedometer doesnt work

This just happened to me yesterday. First, push the AC button to turn the AC off. Then, find the fuse pannel on the driver's side under the dash. Mine is behind the ash tray. Replace the 10 amp fuse (marked fuse #18 on my 1995 Camry manual) and the windows, spedo, tach, etc will come back on. My problem is the bearings on my AC clutch heated up a plastic piece between the AC clutch and AC compressor and the plastic piece blew up and sprayed hot plastic all around the AC compressor. The car runs, but no AC and if I push the AC button, the fuse blows again. I am planning to unbolt the compressor from the engine block, and replace the clutch assembly and pully without disconnecting the hoses. Disconnecting the hoses will vent coolant to the atmosphere and require professional equipment to clean the oil from the system, pull a vaccuum and recharge the system. The AC compressor clutch assembly is available at Advanced Auto for $98. The whole compressor is $247 but requires a lot of work to recharge. You could also take the clutch assembly or whole compressor off and just leave it off and get a shorter (40" in my case) belt to go just to the alternator.
Good Luck.

No power or recharge light is there a fuse inside from wall to laptop tested 18.5 volts coming out but cant turn on recharge

Hi,If there power out from the ac power pack then the next area to check will be the socket going in to the machines, this leads me to the next point,
try removing the battery ,plug in the ac power pack,
if no result then it will be either the mother board or power socket,

sometimes cheaper to replace it unless you know what your doing,

Mynx9420 have not video and not boot than you

After booting me what happens?!!!! Not video or not boot.....pretty cheap language? What were you doing all the past years my dear friend? Even if I suggest some solutions, I think you can't follow it including this. Get someone's help who know English and explain your problem clearly. Anyhow try this: Remove all power from the system including the battery. Then hold on the power switch for one minute. Next connect the AC adapter and switch on the system. If it again fails to boot, next remove the power again. Then remove the RAM module. You can see it under a removable lid at the back side. Just open the lid; pull apart the two clamps at the sides of the RAM socket; it will come up a little automatically; take it out from the socket; reinsert it back by holding at an angle of 45 degree from the socket base and pushing it slightly. Try again to switch on the system. Don't forget to plug the adapter.

When turned on the screen stays black.

What about the other things? Does the cooling fan work? What are the conditions of the indicators? Does the DVD drive open? Anyhow try this: Remove the AC adapter and battery. Then hold on the power button for up to one minute. Then connect the AC adapter only and try to switch on as usual. If it does't fix the problem, then remove the RAM module. It is located under a cover which has two screws on it. If you remove the screws, you can see it. Pull slightly apart the two clamps holding the RAM. Now it will lift up a little aoutomatically. Carefully pull it outwards. Then reinsert it holding it by 45 degree angle from the base. Push it back to the socket. Keep the notch on the module is aligned with the base.

Dell precision m50 will not boot power light just flashes when I push the power on button. I have reseated all of the connection in the laptop. I have tried different batteries and different power...

remove external peripherals. remove battery. use ac adapter alone. check if ac adapter has sufficient power or check if ac adapter led is solid green or blue. if not then ac adapter might not giving laptop enough power to power up.
if ac adapter led stays on but some problem check the ac adapter - laptop pin socket if loose or damage. if not then replace mobo.
