Inbox is a folder in your E-mail client where newly arrived messages are collected. If you do not delete them or transfer them to some other folder, that is where they stay. You can empty it.
Open the Inbox, select the messages you do not want and delete them. You can also open the Inbox, point to a message (any message), select it then type CTR +A. All messages in the mailbox will be selected. Now press the DEL button and confirm the deletion.
A more radical way to get rid of the Inbox is to delete all your E-mail accounts, followed by uninstalling your E-mail client (Outlook, ThunderBird, etc.)
To delete multiple messages off your phones inbox is quite simple. Simply go to the phones menu, select the message icon, then you go to the inbox, select option and then scroll to 'mark' ans select it, then you select the messages you want to delete from the inbox, then you press the option button again and select delete marked, it will delete all the messages that are marked.
For the phone that is hanging, it will be good if you try the restore factory settings of the phone by going to the menu, select the settings and select restore factory settings, then it will ask for the phones security code, once you enter it, it will restore the phone to the way it was when you first bought it, then your phone will no longer freeze, or better still you can flash the phone with the best appropriate software and cable for the phone.
sir,
when ever i send a message to any body, my cousin is recieving message saying "keep this message IMEI no: 12122...." , this is happening when i use my samsung star 5233w phone only. please let me know the problem
The problem is that your inbox might have become full due to messages and received files via bluetooth.. try deleting some received files or clear all messages inside your inbox to free up memory on your phone..
Try to delete a couple of messages from your inbox, the reason for that blinking envelope is your inbox's memory is full...therefore you have to delete some of the messages.
Restart the phone, e.g turn it on and off and then try again... Sometimes to delete a message, actually go into the message then press delete, it doesnt always work if you go to the inbox itself and select a message and delete :)
I think the best thing to do' is master clear and master resset the phone' but all your massage and file, such as phonebook entries, datebook, media and all the files you have save in your phone will be deleted...
