Most likely a power supply problem. you need to find a service manual, or take your unit to an Acer, recommended, service center, ask for a "Quote" for the repair, before proceeding, as sometimes cost of repair is nearly as much, as a new one.

Hi When I boot it up , the acer emblem comes up then the screen goes black with a small cursor flashing in the top left hand corner

If you are having just a blingking cursor on boot up you must check if there is a disc inside the disc tray, or kindly check as well if there is a USB flash drive plug in on your computer and if there is any please remove them while your computer boots up as your computer might boot from it and it may cause just blingking cursor.

If there is no disc or USB flash drive installed, what you can try is to boot your computer in safemode and perform a system restore. Atleast restore back your computer 2 to 3 days back before this problem happen.

To perform safemode:

- turn off computer
- press the power the botton and after 2 sec tap F8 repeteadly until you see all the safemode options
- select safemode with networking/safemode use the arrow keys to highlight it then press enter
- computer will automatically boot into safemode desktop.

To perform system restore:

- click start > all programs > accessories > system tools > system restore
- click next then select desired date then follow the on screen instructions
- once system restore is done it will automatically restart and boot your computer in normal mode.

Cheers . . .

How can i reset my samsung wa75b9 washingmashine. The green lights are flashing and dont want to anything.

1st thing to do press the child lock mode in 10secont until to remove blingking to your washing machine, the child lock botton is in the panel you see the small face of the baby, follow the arrow whre exactly the child lock some model are two btton you need to press some is one only, if this one is not stop blingking its means some of your part is worn out, especially the main board of the unit.ask the service center how much the coz of the parta and consider the buy new unit of your unit is old.

Blingking light on my motherboard, no power.

Chances are your power supply and computer is fine! From other forums on this problem (which I also had), I've learned the following:
1. If you unplug the computer for a half hour or so (the blinking green light will gradually slow down and quit) and plug it back in, the situation will correct itself and the green light will be steady; however if this does not work,
2. a reset that works for a lot of people with the blinking light problem involves leaving the power supply plugged in and unplugging the power supply connection at the motherboard (it usually also has a blinking green LED) and plugging it back in. To read up on how to do this, Google "blinking green light on computer power supply" and read through some of the forums and you'll come on more specific instructions. Usually, you have to wade through everybody telling you to replace the power supply or your motherboard is fried. It's worth a try for a quick fix, just in case those situations don't apply!

Blingking code C-6 in my kyocera km 1500

Fuser error,
may have either a blown lamp, blown thermo fuse or faulty thermistors, but more then likely a combination of at least two.
