i have check everything , i even bought a satelite finder to check the signal, what i set the antena up for a reading of 8 out of 10 with 5 db attenuation but i still no have a signal.
the problem come after a heavy rain and since then ,the decoder is allways keep scaning. i realy want to solve the problem my self but .... i need a help . a clue !
thanks for anwsering me in avance!
Well, firstly. u have a sat finder!! great!! now lets see if i can teach u how to use it, when you hook it up there will always be some sort of signal, (other electronic waves in the air) the best way to check is to put ur hand in front of the LNB (the square box in front of the dish) if he signal goes down, the signal was fine to begin with, if it goes up, the dish is out, if nothing happens... dead LNB, which in my experiance, the most likely cause, dont for get to reset your decoder once you have solved the problem.. good luck
