The tip of my Lincoln 140 welder develops a droplet of steel quite quickly on it. I have the 25 to 30 cfm of argon flowing. I believe I have the right voltage and feed. ???

reset you wire feed speed and the voltage for the thickness of metal being welded
it indicates that the voltage is far too high -probably to compensate for the high wire feed speed
gas is wasted at that flow rate
set up welding screens around the job to stop breezes interfering with the gas at the tip
the gas at the tip should be flowing only strong enough to maintain a gas bubble around the arc
That is the purpose of the gas is only to displace oxygen and so give a good weld

My lincoln ranger 8 has excessive weld spatter compared and the auto idle dosent kick in very fast when I strike off to weld delayed or sticks my rod. My other ranger 8 no issue same heats. Also

weld current and idle control on this machine is controlled by the main circuit board, you mention that you a second ranger 8 that does not exhibit the same problem, you are fortunate in this, remove the board from the functioning machine, install it into the troubled machine, this should correct your problem, you can contact a weld supply store to purchase a replacement pc board

Weld-pak 100 Hd Problem

There is a reset button located in the wire feed spool compartment,
check to see it stays in when pushed. It is a safety when the machine
overheats, it normally resets when machine cools off. If it is working properly I suggest contacting Lincoln Electric Dealer for service.

1993 ford lincoln town car , when you turn the key it has power but when you turn the key to ignition all goes dead?

could be any number of faults but the most obvious to me is a flat bettery try giving it a jump start with some proper cables and them made in china things ,they are only good for a boost charge not a jump start ,cables must be capable of passing at least 200amp current

Lincoln 185 TIG pulse control inadvertently kicking on and off.

welding aluminium requires a bigger current draw that with steel and to weld aluminium it is a dc current requirement
what you are seeing as a pulse may be the unit going into overload

My welder no longer produces high quality welds

You could have a poor ground clamp connection. Check that. also increasing the gas flow will cause turbulence at the weld, this can have a negative effect on weld quality.
Check your connections, check your liner, actually, replace it if you haven't recently.

The fact that you can burn a rod when you bypass the governor on engine tells me that your generator must be getting week. Needing new brushes perhaps?

My lincoln welder lost its heat penetration

It only produces 100amps. You can only weld thinner metal 3/16" comfortably. Any thicker will resuld in less/no penetration.
