I just tryed to hook my cd plaer to my car and the dvd plaer wont work the brake wirer needs to be hooked up but i dont know how to do that

what you need to do is to get the green wire from unit and hook it up to a toggle switch with only on/off then you would connect the green to toggle switch and the rest of the connections on toggle switch ground them. flick it slowly twice and the dvd should show even when driving. just remember its against law so if you see police switch it off quickly

I just purchased a used 2000 Ford windstar. It is missing the TV screen. What kind of TV screen do I buy for it. The VCR is placed in the trunk with a remote to work it but the TV holder doesn't drop...

That is a tricky question. It would depend alot the audio9 system that was running the video. If it is factory u will have to run the factory video, if it was installed aftermarket as an add on u can install just about any aftermarket video you want to put in. If you have a seperate dvd player and it does not say ford you had an aftermarket video, if you have no dvd you more than likey had an aftermarket system, you will more than likey have to take your vechicle to a stereo shop and they can tell you if it is factory or not.

2005 dodge caravan, factory dvd... no sound through speakers

My grandcarvan sxt came with a remote for the DVD system and wireless headphones from KOSS. You have to press the headphone button on the remote to change it to headphones otherwise it comes through the main system. With the button pressed we can listen to cd or radio in front while they wear the headphones in back. You might need the remote to change it back to main system. The headphones from Koss are lifetime guaranty and not too expensive.

How do you remove DVD stuck in navigation system

If you remove the unit from the dash the top, take off the top cover, no screws you can acess the CD slot. Remove the 4 screws holding the CD player in place and the ribbon cable and you should be able to remove the CD from the slot.
