I need to remove and replace hard drive on sony js110j jpc

Hello vulture4:

Sony doesn't want you to know, because this is a job where their service centers, like the one here in San Diego can make a buck. However, you can open case and look for it. Then just disconnect the cables attached to it , and install a new one.

My pc won't turn on at all.

Remove the battery and try turning on the computer with the adapter alone. If it doesnot turn on, its an issue with the computer.

I need help,

Probably a bad capacitor somewhere in the power circuitry.
Or maybe an overheating issue. Try blowing some canned spray air into the vents on the back and/or sides.
It might also be software related. Try booting into Safe Mode and use it for awhile to see if it happens then.

Go to download the drivers that you require from the Sony WEB site, to their support/download page. Make sure you input your model laptop and select the Windows XP or Vista driver version that matches your installed operating system.
