These are sold by Toys R US. Good luck with the scope, but it is one of the ones with many bad reports.

You will not find a manual for that REFLECTOR. However they all assemble and are used in a similar fashion.

Meade has all of their manuals on the web site listed below. Look under the 4.5 inch REFLECTOR header for one that is similar to your telescope; and read my TIPS on my profile page.

I just bought a edu science tescope tonight, and we really don'tknow exactly how it works. Is there any where that I can find a manual for it. I can not find another jst like this one on line. It has a...

Sorry there are no manuals for that small telescope. It is either a REFRACTOR style telescope with a lens in the front, or a REFLECTOR with a mirror in the bottom.

Depending on which one-- they all assemble and are used in a similar fashion. Look around the Bushnell manual web site for one similar to your scope and download the manual for free. Use this to learn the scope.

Look down the page for one that looks like your telescope.

Need a right angle lens adapter for an Edu Science 102mm Asto Nova telescope. Where can I find one? Or should I return the whole thing?

Reflector style telescopes DO NOT need a diagonal. The eyepiece goes directly into the focuser.

Have you used the telescope with just the eyepiece? That is all you need.

I have reflector telescope 672 power and im missing some pieces. I need to get one tripod leg, all the screws to the telescope and the finderscope. I needed to find out how to go about getting these...

It's not worth hunting down that many parts for that small telescope. You cannot just buy a tripod leg-- you must buy the entire tripod. Eyepieces cost at least $30 each-- and a finderscope at least another $30-$40.

Locate another complete telescope. It's not economical to repair that low cost small scope. Toys R Us who sell that brand do not furnish replacement parts.

My name is Raul my reflector telescope edu science brand images are focused Upside when any target in the horizon and would like to see how to fix it right and I would like to send me a manual.

All astronomical telescopes show upside down images. It's completely normal. For terrestrial viewing you will need to buy an "erecting prism" like these:

Edu Scientific telescopes do not have manuals. They are being sold by Toys R Us, and are really not intended for actual astronomical use. We receive more complaints on this brand than all others. has many of these types of scopes for sale because after buying them the people find out they are almost unusable.

I need some parts. Where can I find them? It is a Reflector Telescope 672 Power.

You will not find actual parts for this small refractor, being sold by Toys R Us.

You might try the store where you bought it, but most likely no parts are available. Try a local well stocked hardware store for simple bolts and nuts that you may need.

Next time do not buy a "department store" toy telescope. Read my TIPS on my profile page and read this:

Can't see out of eye piece

This is a reflector style telescope. The MIRROR is in the base! Light enters the front near the focuser and goes down the tube and bounces off the mirror and back to the front and through the eyepiece. The EYEPIECE end is pointed up.

Your scope TUBE should look like the reflector telescope on this web page:

Wish you had NOT bought this telescope. For about the same price you could have bought this:

The scope above has a 6 inch mirror which is almost twice the size of the scope you bought.

Edu science reflector telescope instructions 600x

This is a small refractor telescope-- they pretty much all work the same-- BUT don't expect to get more than 100 power out of the scope. Yes I know the box said 600 power but it's a lie. In my 8 inch telescope I rarely get above 250 power and my scope is many times larger than the one you have--

Now put the eyepiece with the largest number written on it into the telescope-- the LARGER the number the LOWER the magnification. During the day time practice focusing on a distant object --- AND line-up the small finder scope on top with the main telescope tube. Look at the top of a distant light or church steple, or telephone pole. Without moving the telescope adjust the small finder scope by loosening and tightening the screws around the tube holding the finder scope-- put the crosshairs on the same spot as the main telescope.

Now you can use the small finder to locate objects in the sky-- the moon should be your first night time target.
