I have a Namco plug and play game system with AV male jacks. Im having a problem with the system AVm jacks and my tv can't pic up the system signal. How can I fix this

I've had the same plug and play and had the same issue so I think I have a good diagnosis for you. Where the wires enter the back of the game, they tend to fray out and this causes a short in the cables causing the audio and video to no longer show up. It can be constant or intermittent. When intermittent, wiggling the cable close to were it enters the game will cause disruptions on the screen (not if on an HD tv) and for the video/audio to cut out or in. It's trash if you for trust yourself to take it apart and work on it but otherwise you can tear it open and check the wiring. Watch out for the screws that hold the shell together because some may be hidden under stickers as well. Make sure that all 4 connections for the wires inside are tight and that no fraying has occurred. If you see fraying then either snip it with scissors or tape it off with electrical tape. Good luck my friend :)

My DVD player model# PET100/67 lost its Audio-Video (AV out) wire is lost. I need to buy one. Could you please give me any information on how to buy? I bought this player in the Philippines and now...

I think you're talking about a "camcorder video cable", you can get a picture or purchase it on Amazon. One end is like a 1/8" headphone jack, but has an extra conductor, while the other end are 3 RCA jacks.

We need to connect a wii and a dvd player up to our 32 in Emerson? Unsure of which jacks to use?

First, you must figure out If your TV has component video inputs. This is a set of five cables (red, blue and green for video and red and white for audio) and will give you the best picture on an hdtv

Then, If your TV does not have the component video cables, you will be using the red white and yellow composite yellows the system came with. A very simple connection.

Last, If your TV does have the component video inputs, you will need to buy a set of the Nintendo Wii Component Video cables from Walmart, Target or any other gaming store. These will enable widescreen view and the best picture quality.

To connect your DVD player, you need to located the composite video inputs and s-video. Composite video is a yellow, female RCA jack, normally found next to two audio jacks, one red, the other white. The three jacks together provide an interface for audiovisual connections. The red RCA jack connects the right channel of a stereo system, while the white RCA jack connects the left. The yellow composite video jack rounds out the set.

When playing the Wii, you will need to be on the correct video input "Component"

When playing the DVD, you will be on "Composite/Svideo."

Xbox 360 Controller: Headset jack on my Xbox 360 wired controller isn't...

try taping it down.

If this doesn't work, you're probably stuck buying a new headset.

Elgato EyeTV (T5301LL/A) Video Capture: I have an old camcorder - with only a yellow video...

If you have just one Audio Out RCA jack then the camcorder only recorded in MONO, so all you would need to do is either plug the wire coming from your single Audio Out jack into the left or white input jack of your Capture Device which may have an option in the software program to set it to recieve audio in MONO, or you can buy a RCA Jack Splitter that goes from a single Female RCA jack on one end and 2 Male RCA Jacks on the other end. Then you take the end of the Splitter with 2 plugs and plug one of them into the White Jack and the other into the Red Jack on your Capture Device, and the other end with just one plug should plug into the cord coming from the Black Jack on your Camcorder.

I got dual (forj) headrests the sound works on the one that has the dvd in it but not the one that does not, the rca jacks are hooked up to it, it has speakers in it, does it even have sound?

The monitor only headrest does not have audio handling circuitry in it. the wire harness for that side is the one with the red and black wire, and the two video inputs, not the harness with the red and black wire and the three RCA jacks. It will function on the wrong harness, but it is not the correct one.

The DVD headrest has two harnesses. One of them is for power and output, the other is for input only from another source. The harness with the red and black wire has the three RCA outputs... the video lead goes to the other headrest, and the audio can be fed to an aux input on a stereo or amplifier. The input harness is designed to be Video 2 input from either a gaming system (a Game Cube is a nice option), or another DVD or video source (hand held video device such as iPod or Smart Phone like a HTC Touch Pro 2).

No video output, just sound

well first make sure if you have a av cable that has both component and regualr avi jacks that the cable is set to right setting

HD - blue, red, green, and audio (red n white)
TV - yellow and audio (red n white)

should be a switch on the thick part the connects into the 360
