Do you have your manual? If not then download it from the manufactuers website, look for your model printed on the bottom of your unit,
You need to adjust your ip setting on the wireless modem before you can use wirelessly, dont forget to make it a secure connection with a password or someone can just use your connection for free...

I have a modem set up in my tips and tricks,
very simalr process to what you need to do....

Wired connection randomly drops

Since the wireless works fine on your router, then it is possible that there is a problem either on your ethernet cable or on the port of the belkin router.
Try a different ethernet cable. (Ethernet cable is the one that is connected from your computer to the router.) If you don't have a spare cable, you can directly connect the computer to the modem, just to isolate the issue and determine if it is the cable or the computer itself.
If you have determined that the cable is working fine, then try a different port on the router.
I hope this helps!

How to connect a wireless card to ithernet

There are routers you can purchase that will allow your aircard to plug-in to it as opposed to your laptop. Most companies charge you alot of money for going over there limits on usage so becareful. I had a friend that got charged over $900 due to excessive usage.

Downloading

During the download process on the laptop, keep an eye on the signal strength of the wireless network. If the signal seems to drop out at the time of the download failure, I'd recommend disabling the power management of the wireless card.

Server not found} NetGear WGR614 Wireless Router doesn't connect me to the internet.

Dear Loud Nouises,

Your router must be connected properly to the cable modem. This must be to the wan port on the router.

Next, the router must be set-up accordingly to recognize the modem's internet connections. Please ask for the IP address.. and other relevant informations from your internet provider.

Set -up your computer using the internet connections wizard on each of your respective computer.

This should work fine if all connections were correctly configured.
