MY SOFTWEAR LOST; WEBCAM MODEL NO VF0220. AND IM USING WINDOWS XP. PL SEND ME SITE TO DOWNLOAD. MY MAIL ID IS goarora@yahoo.com

Hello!
Here is the solution for your problem:
1. Go to: http://support.creative.com/Products/ProductDetails.aspx?catID=218&subCatID=219&prodID=15360&prodName=Live!%20Cam%20Video%20IM%20%28VF0220%29&subCatName=WebCam&CatName=Web+Cameras

2. Download the following version: Creative Live! Cam Video IM (VF0220) Driver v1.03.02 (it is compatible with your operating system)

3. After the download is finished, double click on the downloaded file, and click "Run" (or "Install"). Confirm installing and wait until the process is finished. You might need to plug in your webcam during installation.

4. Unplug the camera and restart your system.

5. The device should be now automatically recognized and work fine.

I hope this was helpful.
Best regard!

I've had my webcam for only 2 months. When i plugged it in today, it came on for a few minutes, and now it either doesn't work at all or says "Cannot capture video. The camera may already in use". However,...

Sounds like your driver (software that runs hardware) may be corrupt or missing and you need to re-install

Visit the Logitech website and browse the photo gallery for your model and click on the photo to navigate to the support page.
Note - Older models on page 2 - look for the link at the bottom right of page 1 and click on it "Still can't find your product?"

http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/405/&cl=us,en?prodcrid=405

In addition to the Logitech installer you will need to download Microsoft DirectX 9 or later to support your webcam

Procedure
Close all programs while uninstalling - downloading and uploading software
Disconnect your webcam
Uninstall the current webcam software on your computer
Restart computer
Download the Installation package from Logitech
Run the installer and choose your options during the installation - You may not want Logitech Chat but the Desktop icon for the webcam toolbar is a must.
Connect your webcam when prompted.

Error Msg: Problem occure during Hardware installation

Having Nero installed can cause this problem. This is from the Microsoft Knowledge base. There are some other programs that can cause this problem. Search "Lifecam Program" I believe I have tracked the problem down to this. I have not uninstalled Nero yet, But Nero crashes when trying to launch it video utilities. So at this point I am presuming that tere is a conflict.

Unexpected error during install

Is XP Media Center what you had installed previously when the cam was working? If so, are you using the correct and latest driver from the manufacturer for said operating system?, That being also said, are your video and audio drivers up to date for the operating system?? Those will be the primary concerns, however remember that a corrupt download or one that became corrupted as a result of the hard drive crash could be the real issue. So in other words, start from scratch and check everything you do.
