I have a Vizio p50hdm while watching heard a pop noise and tv went out cant turn back on.I replaced main board and power board and still doesn't come on any Ideas?

The power amplifier chip (which goes "pop" when it goes bad) may be located on the board where the IR sensor is. Sometimes (but not always) you can make the TV come on by holding the power button in _until_ the TV comes on. But that usually only works when the chip is "going" bad. If you heard the pop, it's probably shot. Also, check for a fuse on _any_ of the boards, and possibly a main fuse at the back of the TV.

Heard a pop coming from tv, no picture but do have sound.

Power supply board has lost a component, most likely a capacitor.

I heard two popping sounds and now my television will not power on.

A popping sound as you describe sounds as if your tv blew a couple capicators on the main control board. More than likely , you are needing to aquire a new main circuit board.

Hitachi clu-4591av stopped working - popping sound

The power supply regulator section should be troubleshooted. The "Pop" sound you heard might be of a bursted electrolytic capacitor in the AC mains rectifier section inside the TV. All the related commponets, rectifier diodes, protection zener diodes etc:- should be checked before switch ON the TV further.

Popping sound heard, will not come back on.sound heard when tv was being turned on

Some component failed, probably in the power supply section. Not something you are going to fix unless you are a tech. You can try and open the back and confirm damage to the power board. And possibly buy another board on ebay, but be carefull. Some parts sold there are bad .... This assumes that the set is out of warranty.
