Question about Acer Aspire 5315 Notebook
I connect power supply to the computer the power light for battery charger comes on but goes out immediately I push power on button. however after a lot of mucking about it will eventually restart and then run perfectly it then tells me that the batteries are fully charged. However should from any reason I turn the computer off it will not restart. Computer is 18 months old. Would a faulty battery cause this problem. Any help with this problem would be appreciated .if I remove the battery I still have the same problem. Bob
From your diagnostic, seems that maybe the ac adapter , thepower supply is the one that is wrong.
if you removed the battery and still having that problem, then you already had taken the battery out of the problem.
get a new power supply, or borrow one to test it.
