That would be on the back of the dryer, inserted into the exhaust duct. This is usually within a foot up from the bottom. You will need to remove a couple of sheet screws to remove.

Kenmore model 110.80754001 doesn't heat but element is good

The problem could be the dryer thermal fuse. It is usually located on the blower housing. If the dryer overheats, the thermal fuse blows to cut off power to the dryer. If the thermal fuse has blown, then generally the dryer won't start. If your dryer drum rotates, but does not heat, then the problem could be something else.
If it is the thermal fuse, it cannot be reset-if the fuse has blown, it needs to be replaced.
If it is the fuse ... it is also important to figure out WHY it blew ... or else the same problem could show up. Sometimes the thermal fuse blow due to a clogged vent. That should be checked.
Good luck with your troubleshooting

Where is the thermal fuse located on a frigidarie affinty dryer model # faqg7021wl0

Good Afternoon Friend, this is Z. I am happy to assist you!

The thermal fuse on your Frigidaire dryer (FAQG7021WL0) is typically located on the outlet duct. However, I show that this model also has another thermal fuse located on the flame housing. Hope this helps!

Dryer is 4 years old and will not come on. Just clicks but will not come on. Kind Regards Mr. and Mrs. Priest

Hello Mr& Mrs Priest,

If the clicking that you hear is coming from the control panel, then the problem with your dryer is that the thermal fuse is defective, depending on your exact model these two youtube videos will show you how to disassamble the dryer to replace the thermal fuse.
The thermal fuse usually goes out due to a blockage or restriction in the venting so check that its clear from the dryer all the way to where it exits outside of the house.

Dryer Samsung model dv316bewxaa a 1 min after begining to run he show on the computer control and setup working

Hello & Welcome to FixYa
HE is a heating error and is displayed due to restricted vent or bad thermal fuse/thermistor. If you have already tried cleaning the vent then the problem is with the Thermal fuse. When the thermal fuse goes bad it cannot be reset and replacing it is recommended repair. It is located on the blower wheel housing inside the rear panel to the exhaust duct. You can test it for continuity before replacing. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

Have a kenmore gas dryer, model # 11072802101, that will not heat at all. have already changed the thermal fuse with no change.

The 'operating' thermostat and the high temp limit thermostat could be bad. There is also a contact on the motor in the element circuit. The two therm. mentioned should read '0' ohms with a meter. (with machine unplugged.)

I need to put in hi-limit thermal fuse how .show

Hello Friend, This problem will be an easy quick fix for you. All you need is a thermal fuse, your cost under $20. Remove back cover from dryer, look down towards where the air blows out, then just to the left where all the wires are. You will see a little white plastic part with two wires plugged into it, this part is called a thermal fuse. Just unplug these wires and replace the thermal fuse. This should solve your problem. Happy to help, Tim.

Dryer won't stay on.

tc7059d4.jpg9729365.jpg3403fe5.jpgThe wiring diagram for your dryer is shown in the first image below. A thermal fuse is normally in the circuit to the igniter on many gas dryers. I recommend checking this fuse. On dryer model 11073032102, you can access this fuse by _unplugging the dryer, shutting off the gas supply,_ and removing the bottom front service panel as shown in the second image below. On some Kenmore dryers, you have to remove the back panel to access the thermal fuse. The thermal fuse is located on the blower housing . The third image shows the location and replacement procedure. To test the thermal fuse, remove at least one wire (with the dryer still unplugged) and measure the resistance across the leads of the fuse with a volt/ohm meter. You should measure near zero ohms (continuity). If you measure infinite resistance (open), then the thermal fuse is blown and will need to be replaced.NOTE: If the thermal fuse is blown, check the venting for your dryer. Restricted exhaust venting can cause the thermal fuse to blow.

thank You Huuum
