Recently re-installed windows xp on my e-machines T2542 and now my speakers (Diamond Audio Techonology Model EMC2.0-USB) do not work. I downloaded RealTek AC '97 Audio, but it does not show up in my Device...

Good day sir, hi, the realtek you downloaded maybe is not the correct driver, the driver is the ALC202 from this website: http://mxdtr.com/index.php/category/emachines-trigem-imperial-g-motherboard-driver-drivers-download/

You can visit this site for the driver:
http://www.lostmydrivers.com/soundcard-drivers/realtek/page_3.html

Run the driver once again, when windows detect the device, dont reply, just let the driver finish the installation. then restart the pc. thats it. thanks

XW4300 Sound Card problem, only working in Windows MP

Most online audio makes use of Adobe Flash, did you check that?
Best is to download and install the latest version of Flash to make sure.

Installing the latest version of DirectX for Windows XP can also help (9.0c).

Please also check for further suggestions about fixing sound problems in Windows XP.

NO SOUNDS...

Here is a link to the Windows Xp audio drivers to try for your motherboard/audio:

http://www.opendrivers.com/driver/258452/powerspec-v201-realtek-audio-sound-driver-5.10.0.5288-windows-xp-free-download.html

You need to click the link on this webpage near bottom to go to download. Let me know if this does the trick. It definitely sounds like an XP issue.

The F10 F11 F12 sound keys not working on my Asus F3S os Vista

Hi,

I don't know how to do to help you, - 2 solutions:

1. go here and specify if you pc is a F3Sc - F3Se - F3Sv and download the drivers. ( don't use driver detect, that will cost you....)
http://www.drivershq.com/Drivers/ASUS/F3-Series/13236/24543/Models.aspx

2. Reinstall, to WinXP, with that you get a computer leaving the table, with the speed you get on XP, but that's up to you. XP Drivers here:
http://usa.asus.com/search.aspx?searchitem=1&searchkey=F3S
- again, choos your model, and then your OS ie WinXP, - they are all there, - go on you asus.

Personally, I would not hesitate to install XP, but don't mind me, I have been working (full time as an adminisrator) with Server2003 and WinXP for years.

LOST SOUND AND VGA CONTROLLER

Hi.

I spent over 8 hours trying to fix this. Thanks to God for providing the solution through the Internet and people like you.

Go to the Intel website and update your chipset. Use their auto detection tool to find the right one. Mine was 945PL Express.

http://downloadcenter.intel.com/scripts-df-external/Product_Filter.aspx?ProductID=816

Install it and reboot. Check the System Devices tab under Control Panel|System|Hardware devices. Make sure the that "Microsoft UAA Bus Driver for HD Audio" doesn't have a red X on it. If it does, Right Click and enable it.

You may also need to get the RealTek Audio driver from the realtek site. try here:

http://www.realtek.com/downloads/downloadsCheck.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=24&PFid=24&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false

Good luck and God Bless.

No sound

First check out, whether the audio device is pluged in properly. Second check the driver is being installed. third check whether the device is activated in device manager. If the problem is not solved, just uninstall the device and the corresponding driver. then install the device and check the system detects the device.then install the corresponding driver. otherwise try out with new realtek driver files.
