I have an old #65512 that won't heat. What should I look for first?

My dryer won't heat up


You can try the heating elements. First unplug the dryer and you will have to take back panel off. You need a Volt Ohm meter to do a resistance measurement. Place the leading one each end of the elements and the reading should be close to "0". I'm thinking if the dryer is old the heating elements has burned out.

The problem is caused by a bad magnetron, inverter board, "7 years old or less" and possibily the keypad control board.

Frigidaire dishwasher won't dry dishes. Less than two years old. Seldom used. FDB1100RHM. Could this be the heating element? Could this be something we could fix?

Hi, If you have a gas dryer2_bing.gif.
The most common problem with a gas and no heat is the ignitor going bad...

check the continuity on the thermal fuse located on the back wall small white thermostat perhaps 1.5 inches by 1/2 inch, and if no tcheck the thermo on to p and next to hte heater hte should all have continuity. if not replace them as ness.
