Wiring diagram for inside mics on a pdwm 5000

The cable to mic / radio base has been replaced and is not stock. The factory diagram is d104-silver-eagle-wiring-diagram-3.jpg (1275×2100) (schematron.org)

If that is the only difference then anywhere the wiring diagram shows blue to the mic connection, use the white wire.

most realistic radios' have the same mic plug. If its a dn plug its quite possible. then just plug another dn mic into it.or copy the wire pattern down to use on another radio.whatever.

you may have to order one from radio shack because the wireing diagram is for that radio and mic only . You cannot use another mic on that radio , only the one that comes with it . If you are patient enough and have another mic with the same controls you could wire it up. it has to be ( I think a 6 pin ) ???

why not just purchase a 5 pin for it?

Sounds like a wiring error. A hot and ground might be reversed.

A regular mic, has only two wires, one is ground and the other of course is the output. The on off switch shorts the ground and the output so it goes complete silent. Phantom powered mic are slightly diffrent. and they are actually studio microphones used in recording studio. They have 3 connections. One is the phantom power one is ground and the other is the output.

I contacted the manufacturer and they verified that this was possible. I will test prior to the event. Thanks for responding.
