Not sure about this one, but most of these gps units have a sub menu in them that will ask you what to display. You activate them in one of the settings menu, and it will show you how far to destination automatically. It is programed right into the unit, just not sure how you do it any more since i don't use Magellan anymore. Sorry. Hope this helps

Check out these.. An "R" (race) compound tire is what you are looking for.. they will wear faster..but ..they will "keep the rubber side down".. and you safe.. Here is a selection. (I prefer Pirelli or Michelin)... and only use matched sets!

Distance to intersection or destination is off by 20-30 meters, how can I correct this?

Hi
connect your gps to your computer and run the garmin web updater program (free from garmin).
Make sure you have all the firmware updates as every now and again they readjust the satellite information to correct position errors.

Hi I do not know if you can help? I have had the 2.0 Grand Vitara for 2 years and it is a lovely car in just about all respects. However it has appalling petrol consumption, even from new. I average 24...

You are doing better than average on your mileage. The estimated mileage for the 4 cylinder engine is 19mpg city and 26 mpg highway. Your mileage is actually quite good for a 4 wheel drive vehicle.

1998 Honda accord EX with 75k miles in it. Major tune up was done in 2009 and tire has been replaced. Having mileage issue since few years and giving between 260 to 270 miles per tank (15 gallon). Last...

Make sure the air filter is clean. Have a diagnostic scan done to the engine to see if there are any trouble codes or issues that would reduce your gas mileage. You are getting around 11 or 12 miles to the gallon, which isn't very good. But, judging by the low amount of miles on the car, you apparently do all your driving in traffic, and short distances with a lot of stop and go. If you let the engine warm up for long periods of time, especially in cold weather, that will drop your mileage considerably. Letting a car warm up for 10 or 15 minutes in the winter gets you 0 miles per gallon for that amount of time. Add all these factors up, and figure in the poor quality of today's fuel, 12 miles per gallon is not too far off from what you should be getting. If you have the v6 engine, your mileage was probably around 15mpg when the car was new. Now if you were to take your car on a road trip where you could drive a long distance with the cruise control set on 65mph, you would probably get around 18mpg.
