I need the wiring diagram for a Nordyne GS3BA-024KA condenser

3 wires for compressor, 3 for fan. 2 comp. wires go to the top of the contactor, the remaining goes to herm terminal on capacitor. 1 fan wire goes to the top LEFT of contactor, remaining 2 go to com and fan on capacitor. You will then have 1 wire left that goes to the com on the capacitor and should go back to the top RIGHT of the contactor. NOTE: IF YOUR FAN MOTOR IS RUNNING BACKWARDS (MEANING AIR IS NOT BLOWING OUT OR UP) swap the to fan motor wires on the capacitor (fan and com) this should reverse rotation. ALWAYS REMEMBER TO TURN POWER OFF AND DISCHARGE CAPACITOR BEFORE TOUCHING WITH INSULATED SCREWDRIVER. Good Luck!

Computer smps not work properlly what problem

More than likely a bad voltage power rail, balanpv38.

Also more than likely caused by bad Electrolytic Capacitors inside the Switched-Mode Power Supply.

Radial Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors.

Capacitors in the Output Stage, more than likely.

Capacitors are used as Filters, and Voltage Regulators. In the Input Stage of the SMPS they are used as voltage regulators. In the Output Stage they are used as filters.

Filter the rectified AC voltage, which is now DC. They make the DC voltage 'clean'. No ripples, clean DC voltage.

The two large blue sleeved Radial Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors, you see marked with the letter B, can store Up To 100 Volts.
They are in the Input Stage.

IF, your fingers touch the terminals (2) on the bottom of the capacitor/s, YOU could receive the stored charge. Result is a Bad shock to FATAL.

IF, your fingers complete a circuit, that one or more capacitors are in, YOU could receive all of their stored charge. Result is a Bad shock to FATAL.

Capacitors need to be PROPERLY discharged before working on the unit.

This is hwy I cannot guide you in this endeavor. I will not guide you with the slightest possibility of you getting hurt.

Suggestion is to replace the Power Supply.

What can make a Power Supply go bad?

1) Low quality electronic components inside.

A) Low quality Radial Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors
B) Low quality Power MOSFET/s
C) Low quality Rectifier Bridge
D) Low quality wiring due to the gauge of wiring used is too small.

2) Power Supply, (And inside of computer), is dirty inside.

An SMPS (Switched-Mode Power Supply), has two cooling components inside;

Heatsinks, and a small internal fan.

In the Wikipedia link of the open SMPS above, there are two Heatsink's used in this particular example;

One is in-between the letters B and C, and one is in-between the letters C and D.
Rectangular finned shapes connected by a vertical bar.

The Heatsink absorbs heat from whatever object it is placed against.
The rectangular shaped fins absorb the heat, then radiate it away.
The small internal fan's air flow helps carry heat away from the fins.

If in-between the fins, and around the fins, is clogged with 'Gunk', the cooling capacity drops Tremendously.
('Gunk' = Dirt, dust, lint, hair, etc)

Heat = Wasted Energy
The Power Supply cannot keep up with the call for power, and components inside the Power Supply fail.

I bought a replacement Dayton electric condenser fan motor. The original GE had 3 wires. L1 L2 & the fan capacitor wire. The Dayton replacement model 4MB21 has 4 wires, L1 L2 and 2 capacitor wires tan...

The tan/white wire can be insulated/capped and not used. Use and ohmmeter to take a resistance reading between the tan/white wire and L1 & L2. There will be no resistance between the tan/white wire and one of the others. This will be the common wire. Connect it to one side of the contactor. Connect the tan wire to the fan terminal on the contactor and the other wire to the common terminal on the capacitor (that is if you have a 3 terminal capacitor, if you have a 2 terminal capacitor connect tan to one side and the other wire to the other). Then connect the other side of the contactor to the common terminal on the capacitor (on a 2 terminal capacitor connect the contactor to the side that doesn't have the tan wire on it).

Ceiling fan capacitor hook up problem. I have a 3 speed fan. 4 switch. A 3 wire capacitor - CBB61. Kids lost wiring diagram. Any which way I try to wire it up only one of the speeds works. Any wiring...

The reverse switch on my Hampton Bay ceiling fan didn't work. I cut the 6 wires; 1 white, 1 gray, 2 pink, 2 yellow. Here's what I did. Removed reverse switch. Had 6 wires white, gray, 2 yellow, 2 pink. Connected gray to yellow, connected white to pink and fan runs fine. Is this OK? I do not need to reverse fan. It's been running for 1 hour now with no problems. Don S.

Must Wire replacement Capacitors

First, main power off and use an insulated screwdriver to touch each terminal on the capacitor to the casing (they can hold a charge) The capacitor has 3 terminal marked C, F, H - 2 The wire from the fan goes to F, the wire from the compressor goes to H and a wire coming from the contactor goes to C. For the start capacitor, if it has 2 wires, it goes to the H and C terminals on the main capacitor. If it has more wires, let me know. Ron
