Question about Washing Machines
My machine is about ten years old and I cannot find my operating instructions.
It recently stopped agitating during the wash or rinse cycles.
It still spins and drains but will not wash.
Does this model have a belt that might need to be replaced and if it does how can I find the belt on the machine to check?
I have 550 Hoover about 6 years old, just out of warranty period,
is currently noticed the problem of stopping during prewash rinse, start again it startsup but stopped immediately. And keep repeating it. If i skip to spin manually then it almost completes the cycle. THis problem starts few months back also then vanished by itself and now it starts again.can some guru tell me if its because of belt or drive belt etc.

If if spins the belt is ok,may have timer fault or timer module ( next to timer) if fitted will be faulty
