Hi,

Thanks for writing to Fixya.com.

Control system for a microwave oven or a combination microwave and convection oven where the on time of a microwave generating system is decreased while convection heater on time may optionally be increased as a food product cooks to a predetermined, desired temperature. A temperature probe inserted in the product senses temperature and connects to a Wheatstone bridge. A differential amplifier connects to the Wheatstone bridge, an up/down integrator circuit connects to the differential amplifier, and a comparator connects to the integrator and which includes a latch to generate a signal to control a triac for controlling the microwave generating system and to provide a closed loop feedback signal to the temperature probe. The control system starts the oven cooking with substantially one-hundred percent power and, as the desired predetermined temperature is reached, the microwave power level is decreased through the control system. As the microwave power level is decreased, the average power to the convection heater may optionally be increased to speed the browning and crisping of a food product. The control system, through the electrical circuit, converts the temperature differential signal into a microwave generating system level signal. The closed loop feedback signal is generated by the microwave generating system which is controlled by the comparator latch and an NPN transistor controlling the up/down integrator. The control system can be used with any type of microwave oven.

Thanks for contacting Fixya and please accept the solution if it has helped you.

The fan comes on when I first open the door to put food in the mircoware.

The fan always comes on when you open the microwave door, to either put food in or take foods out. The oven doesn't know so it does both.

The fan removes condensation, steam and cooking smells.

Preheat a oven

preheating gives u prepare temperature of oven for some specific cooking
Don't leave the oven door open too long when putting the food in because the temperature will drop a little but that is not horrible and shouldn't be a cause of great concern. Each time you open the oven door the temperature will drop a little.

Burns my popcorn constantly. is there a different setting i can put it on?

HELLO.

Solution to your microwave problem is given as below.

* 1 Set your Daewoo microwave on a countertop near an electrical outlet and plug it in. Open the door and place the circular roller guide in the center of the oven cavity, then place the glass cooking tray over it.

* 2 Set your food on a microwave-safe dish and then put the dish on the cooking tray and close the door. Make sure that it latches properly.

* 3 Turn the upper knob to select a power level. Power levels include "Defrost," "Med-High," or "High." If your Daewoo has a touch pad, touch the "Microwave" button once to set the highest power level. Touch it consecutive times to lower the power level.

* 4 Turn the lower knob to set the cooking time. For cooking times less than two minutes, turn the knob up past the two-minute mark, then back to the correct time. For touch pad models, enter in the cooking time with the numerical keys and then press "Start."

* 5 Open the door at any time to stop the cooking and check the temperature of your food. Shut the door to automatically continue cooking, or turn the timer knob to the right to add more time. For touch pads, press the "Stop/Clear" button, then key in a new cooking time and press "Start."

* 6 Open the door when the timer reaches the "Off" position and take out your food.

Thanks.

If you turn the dial clockwise this will make it colder anticlock less cooler...Start by switching off for a few Hours leave door open to allow defrost...Turn the stat fully anticlockwise to almost off then put it to say 2 o clock position assumming that it will go from 12 to 10,this should allow food to remain cold without freezing.you are looking for about 3/8 Degrees c.....Buy a cheap thermometer this will help to keep you on the right track..Good luck

My GE Profile JE1390 (Sensor Convection Microwave Oven) is coming on when the door is opened. It will still work once you put food inside and set the timer, but you risk radiating yourself. What might...

Door switches

If one of the door interlock switches is not switching properly or there is a condensation problem on the sensor control panel, either can cause the turntable/light/oven to come on even though the "Starts" button has not been depressed due to the wiring of the switches.
Check for faulty door switches and/or contaminated actuators.
I hope that helps.
