Error messages,
Your dishwasher is equipped with a safety system which is able to detect any operating anomalies. These anomalies are reported by one or two wash cycle indicator lights "G" flashing rapidly.
Flashing LED diode above the mark 12h (drying) indicates faulty NTC thermistor. So, could be faulty: thermistor NTC, wiring between NTC and control board, control board.
Tia The above answer would be helpful but I’m trying to get my dishwasher to drain & this makes the dishwasher do some type of cycle & doesn’t drain at all... pls advise
put unit on a quick wash as the dispenser opens early in the cycle .. if it heats and the dispenser is still closed then a new dispenser is in order...
DONOT EVEN TO TRY TO DEAL WITH SALT CONTAINER , YOUR PROBLEM IS OUT OF THIS AREA,
YOUR M/C MAY NEED TO DEAL WITH DRAIN PUMP
IT IS ALSO UNDERNEATH>
THANKS
1) Ensure the dishwasher is turned off. 2) (may not apply) Turn the plastic blue lever located under the sink to the vertical position (this opens the valve, so water can go into the dishwasher) 3) Pour powder indo the dishwasher 4) Turn the dishwasher controller to the top position (the 12 o?clock position) ? this is the eco-setting. 5) Press the on/power button on the dishwasher, so that it now turned on (a light will display) 6) Move the dishwasher controller to the ?R? position (it?s on the very left), and leave it there a second or two. 7) Move the dishwasher controller back to the eco-setting (the 12 o?clock position
Unplug the power cable, remove the service panel and follow the next steps :
- Remove one of the wires connected to the heating element and check with a multi-meter the element's resistance. In case you can't read any result, you should replace the element.
- Check the water level switch- The switch level is usually a diaphragm device with a small clear tube attached between the switch and the bottom of the washer's outer tub.Clear tube first from any obstruction, In case it doesn't help, disconnect the wires from the and measure with a multi-meter on its tugs for continuity and disconnection while you are inhale and blow to its tube.
In case it doesn't react, you should replace it.
- Control panel - look for loose wires.
If you think that your main control PCB timer have failed, you may be able to get it tested, and if faulty, get a re-worked (repaired one) much cheaper than a new one.
Good luck !
