The Short Answer to this is Yes. I have one and it works perfectly fine in windows 7. The only thing that does not work is that actual cruzer software itself. By this i mean that little window that comes up on xp comptuers. However you can still access it under my computer and you can still stop the device on in the tray icons. I hope this helps
Thanks
Steven.

If there is any Media Error not possible to format the drive otherwise use the following method on Windows 7

Open a Administrator command Prompt and type the command one by one

1.list disk

you can find the avilable disk and note your USB Drive Disk Number

2.select disk 1 (change the number)

3.clean

4.create partition primary
5.format fs=ntfs quick

if no problem in usb it will format your USB Drive

My 8GB SanDisk Cruzer when plugged in lights up, but it's not detected, both on Windows and on Mac, I don't know if it's still fixable... :(

Try reformatting your thumb drive. Here's how to do it on a Mac:

**THIS WILL DELETE ALL THE DATA ON THE DRIVE**

1. Open Finder
2. Applications 3. On the left column, you should see your thumb drive. Click on it.
4. Click on the "Erase" tab near the top
5. For "Format:" select "FAT32"
6. Click on the "Erase..." button

I NEED A DRIVER FOR MY SANDISK USB, COZ I TRY ALL I SHOULD TO RECOGNIZED IT BUT AFTER ALL THE DISABLE, UNISTALL, RESTART, SHUTDOWN... STILL USN UNRECOGNIZED... WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Everything your Sandisk Cruzer USB driver needs to run should be on the usb drive itself, unless you have erased it, in which case you may have a problem.

The correct way to use a Sandisk Cruzer is to plug it in so that it lights up and then not touch anything on your computer until the orange sandisk symbol appears on your desktop. Right click this app and use it to browse your USB drive and eject it when you are done.

I hope that helps.

Sandisk Cruzer 8gb Error

Make sure you are logged in as an administrator. I'd also try the thumb drive in a different computer just to make sure the problem isn't with the thumb drive itself. The drive could also be unformatted, or formatted with a filesystem for a different platform that can't be read by XP.
