Network, xp, with hub, 2 computer's

I installed system mechanics 7.0 on my computer i connect through the network for the net, i used the internet optimizer on systerm mechanics witch was fine untill i uninstalled it of my computer. my computers will connect to each other but i cannot use the net iv been through all the regular options but it doesn't make a differance could you help me please Phil
