Question about Computers & Internet
The software you mentioned as "Windows XP Home Edition Version 2002" is the operating system which the PC works on it.
The other programs that you want to install such as "Microsoft Office, home and Student 2007" are not related with the operating system.
They are stand alone programs which work on the Windows XP operating system. The Office program includes different programs such as editing (Microsoft Word), presentation (Power Point), data sheet (Excel), database (Access) programs.
That's why you will NOT remove the XP.
You will only insert the disk and follow the instructions to install the Office software.
Hope this helps. Regards.
