Question about Hayward 12v LED Color Logic Pool Light -100ft Cord - SS Face

Hada lightening strike in Backyard and it knocked out all the light bulbs in the yard including the pool lite. I tested the light itself it doesn not go on. Ever hear of this?

You should have some type of surge protection on that system. If it's plugged in somewhere check any outlets on that system for a GFI and reset it. That's all I can suggest.

Twice now our router has failed to work after lightening strikes. The UPS means its lights still flash etc but the router itself does not work. Why does the UPS not protect it and what do we need to do...

A UPS is generally not designed or manufactured to protect against lightning strikes and / or power surges. Its purpose is ensure that whatever it is supplying power to does not turn off in the event of a power outage. You would be better served by getting a lightening protection strip from a hardware store that comes with insurance against damge from lightening and power surges. Alternately at substantially more cost, you can have an electrician or lightening protection contractor install whole-house lightening protection. Lightening protection strips with insurance included are relatively inexpensive.

What has the contractor who installed it or the dealer who sold it to you said? It is under a manufacturers warranty so if it needs servicing you should leave it to someone in your area who provides warranty service for Jandy. You can locate one on their site.

Whenever lightening strikes , my battery light comes on and also my power steering goes hard on 98 ford taurus SW

I don't know about the lightning striking, but I am guessing that you have either a bad alternator, or bad belt tensioner on your engine. I would start with examining the belt and tensioner, then remove the alternator and have it tested for free at a local parts store.

After lightening strike, Aqualink control panel reads 6700 rev c. All lights on, none work. Outside, power center won't work. No lights. Reset doesn't work. Battery good, fuse appears good. Any ideas?

ok check all the braker even the one for the house .turn them off all and back on if this do not fix check for 220 v if voltage is present the board is bad need replacement get the number from the back to check for prices

Based on what you are saying I would look to see if there are any corroded or broken wires, and I would take a good look at the ground wires that are leading into each of your rear lites.
Sometimes a wire will look as though it is connected but in fact has corroded off inside of the connector.
If the trailer plug is an afterthought then I would carefully inspect each of the wires as some people use test lites that have to be poked through the insulation on the wire thus allowing condensation to get into the wire and corrode them.
At each point where two wires meet and where ever a wire go's into a connector or lite socket ( pigtail ) I would give the wire a little tug to see that it indeed is secure.
Also if you have a test lite then remove the lite bulbs and test to see if there is any power to the lite pigtail itself. I'm sure that you have physically checked each bulb itself. if notthis is rare but it does happen on occasions, a bulb will burn out and the filament in the bulb will drop down and across to the other filament on the bulb causing the lite to short out that particular circuit and this will only happen when that particular part of the circuit is powered. As I mentioned this is very rare I've only seen it happen twice in my career.

Your printer was pawered ON during the Lightening if yes then follow the steps, Try with the different power card if it having the same problem then most probably your printer fuse blown open the printer and check the fuse if the fuse are OK then please check with the service centres
