Question about Aspire Acer AS5315-2856 Laptop
Acer says this is a hardware failure. But I would like you to try these steps and see if the problem goes away/
1. Take battery out
2. with battery out plug it into the A/C outlet
3. Turn it on.
Still white screen?
What you got here is a possiable GPU failure. Gpu stands for Graphics processing unit.
now i said possiable based on thei nformation you left. I have had the same problem and the issue was the GPU and I had to replace the entire motherboard.
Take it for what its worth I am not there to see the actual thing in action nor to diagnose it locally.
Your best course of action here is to try the things I said if it does not wrok then have the mainboard looked at.
Thanks please do leave some ratings before you leave.
