Question about Whirlpool Gold White-on-White 21.9 cu. ft. Conquest Side-By-Side Refrigerator with Ice and Water GD2SHAXLQ Side by Side Refrigerator
Your next check is the dual water valve on the backside of the fridge. If there IS voltage when the icemaker is calling for water - the valve (solenoid) has failed and needs replacement.
If there is no voltage present the timer is faulty.
Head over to PartsSelect.com and enter the full model # in to get the replacement parts you require.

Thanks for writing to Fixya.com.
I know though you have thawed the tube I would recommend you to do it once again. Check the tube directly inside the freezer where it was filling the ice trays was frozen. You can use a hair dryer to unthaw the tube. If this does not work then take the cover off the ice maker. Check the large white gear in the center which has a little two headed pin to keep the gear in place. Now if the pin is broken or twisted in any way that is your problem and you will need a new icemaker motor module. If this is the case you can install it on your own.
Thanks for contacting Fixya and please accept the solution if it has helped you.
