Thank you for clear description of wiring, switches, and for including timer model number.

1) Open following link for ez programming and wiring for Utilitec.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Program-wire-Utilitec-0192773.html

2) Your single-pole switch has 2 wires.
0192773 replaces single-pole switch only.
Black wire that connects each of the switches is Hot wire: connect this wire to timer Black wire.
Other black wire that connects to switch goes to load: connect this wire to timer red wire.
Timer white wire connects to white wires that are covered with wire nut.
Timer green connects to bare ground wire.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR UTILITECH SELF-ADJUSTING WALL TIMER MAKE NO SENSE! iNSTALLED, BUT HAVE TO TURN PORCH LIGHT ON MANUALLY EACH DAY; ALSO COMES ON SOMETIMES IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT! HELP!

1) Sounds like you have timer wired correctly.
The wiring is confusing for many people, so it's apparent you're a quality electrician.

2) There are no repairs for defective timer, but timer can be reset using reset button.
Reset will clear program conflicts and overlaps that cause timer not to operate as expected.

3) Model number of Utilitec timer is not given, so expert has to guess which fork in the road you want to choose.

4) If you have 0192773 timer and want do-it-yourself solution, open following link for larger print and photo illustrations that make programming easier.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Program-wire-Utilitec-0192773.html

5) If you have 0141224 timer, then open following link for larger print instructions.

6) At any point, you can add a comment and ask very specific question about any part of the instructions for either in-wall Utilitec timer, or any Utilitec timer, or ask a question about almost any 60Hz timer on the market today.
That comment sends an e-mail, and then I will respond.
I have tested both Utilitec in-wall timers.

If resetting timer does not restore functionality, and timer has power, and you checked that LIGHT BULB is good, then timer has gone bad.
To double-check circuit, replace timer with ordinary on-off switch and see if it works.
Warranty: buy new 0192773 timer at Lowes, and return broken one inside new package.

I have a Utilitech Self-Adjusting Wall Timer- #0192773 that will not hold it's program. It worked fine and then I had a power outage after replacing the standard bulbs with CFL bulbs. Now I set the...

Manual for this timer says to reset timer when encountering a problem.
Just press reset button for 3-4 seconds, and then re-program timer using instructions on following page.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Program-wire-Utilitec-0192773.html

I have tested this timer, and it is a good timer with typically difficult programming because of Astro option, but all these in-wall timers have 1 year limited warranty.
You can buy another one at Lowes, and then return defective one in new package if necessary.

I do not need an expert, the instruction sheet got wet, so I cannot read it for utiltech self adj. wall timer.

You are asking for a Utilitec manual but don't specify which manual that fixya expert should provide free of charge, which is why you don't need an expert?
