Hi, first thing is check batteries, Then under your keyboard you may find a reset button, Failing that then try the unit in another computer, even if that computer already has a wireless keyboard in you can plug yours in and determine if it works or not, if it does not work then I am sorry to say but the unit has become faulty. Take care, Enjoy life Ad

I have an HP wireless mouse and keyboard, my mouse suddenly stopped working, how can I fix?

It is possible the mouse needs new batteries or needs to be charged.

Try replacing the batteries to see if the mouse starts working.

If that does not work then try re-inserting the wireless receiver into a different USB slot.

Please rate this if you found it useful.

My bluetooth connection for my wireless mouse and my wireless keyboard stopped working. What Can I do about that?

Have you checked the following:

1. Are the batteries OK (NEW)?
2. Have you restarted your computer?
3. Is the Bluetooth (in your computer - i.e., came with it) or are you using an add on bluetooth?
  • If it is an added bluetooth, have you tried, swapping the USB port that it is plugged into and then restarting your computer.
Let me know how you get on. Please rate. Regards,

My Dynex Wireless Optical Mouse just stopped working

If the mouse light is not turning ON even though you have new batteries and the mouse is turned on, then you need to contact the manufacturer for RMA.

Thank you!

Keyboard and mouse not working

Make sure you have fresh batteries...usually this is how to set up a wireless keyboard and mouse. Insert the reciever in the USB and hit the link button normally located as a recessed button on the bottom, a light will blink....On the keyboard press the button as before located as a recessed button on the bottom. Once linked the reciever light should stop blinking...do the same with the mouse.

How to turn keyboard and mouse on

make sure there is new batteries in both the mouse and keyboard. Also the wireless receiever that connects to the computer is responding as well.

After you get new batteries put in and also have the receiever plugged in. press the caps lock, num lock keys and see if they light up on the receiver. If they light up then things are working, if they don't then bring up the notepad and see if any of the keys show up in notepad when you type and also see if the cursor on the screen moves for your mouse.

Hopefully both of them will work once you change batteries. If both don't work after changing batteries then you'll need to get a new wireless keyboard/mouse kit.

USB wireless keyboard doesn't work

You need to unload the USB drivers for the keyboard and let windows find them again at restart. How does a novice do this? It's not hard. Go to Start, Control Panel, System, Hardware, Device Manager, Keyboards. Right click on this and select uninstall. Reboot your machine. If the drivers are not corrupted they should load fine, if they are corrupted then Windows will ask for the original operating system disk.

All this assumes that your keyboards are electronically working. This last holiday season alot of people brought in their Logitech - Target specials that no longer worked. Seems that if you insert the batteries backwards once the keyboard no longer operates (mouse OK). Never checked in to it too deep.

Good Luck

Wireless keyboard

1st, I know it sounds silly, but please make sure the new batteries you installed are new and fresh. Even if they were not used prior, if they are aged, they can still not have enough energy to power the transmitter in the keyboard.

2nd, once you are sure that the battery situation is ok. there is a "link" button on BOTH the keyboard AND the receiver ( the usb piece ).

Press the link button on the receiver 1ST, (usually it will start blinking to show it is in a search mode), then while it is flashing, press the link button on the keyboard.

This should resolve your issue.
