Turn off your PC. Isolate from electrical outlet and ground yourself. Check the hard disk connections. remove and reattach the jacks.

Try the following: 1. Try replacing the IDE cable or SATA cable of your hard disk. 2. Check the power cord if it is properly seated at the hard disk. 3. If you are using IDE hard drive. Check master or slave setting. 4. If you added a cd/dvd rom make sure it is set to a slave. 5. Try replacing another hard drive. Check if it works.

Diskettedrive 1 seek failure primary hard disk drive 1 not found secondary hardisk drive 1 not found cp says strike f1 but cp boot only up to xp logo then re start again and so on again and again

If both of the hard drives are on the same data cable/disk drive controller it is unlikely that both the have failed. Reseat the data cable connectors on the hard drives and at the motherboard.
Reboot you computer and hopefully it will boot up.
Check the BIOS configuration to see if the BIOS detects the hard drives.
If not the disk drive controller on the motherboard may be faulty.

When i start my computer it says press f1 to

This means your hard drive has either failed or is disconnected.

Given the age of the computer it's most likely the drive has failed.

Let me know if there is important data saved on the computer. Otherwise, replace the drive and re-install windows and it should work again.

External Segate 200 GB SATA Hardisk (USB 2.0 connection to PC)

I appears the volume may have been corrupted. YOu should run data recovery on the drive if you need any of the content. If not reformatting the drive, should restore it. If the contents are not important, or you have it backed up, go ahead and connect it to the MACINTOSH and format it for MS-DOS.

Unless it is physically damaged ( clicking, beeping, knocking ) it shoud be usable.

Hope this helps.
