My cord on my razer copperhead mouse is broken

Gaming mice are not cheap, sell for $30 - 130. The cord on my RAZER DIAMONDBACK mouse went bad, I opened the mouse & repaired the broken wires. You have to unplug cord from inside mouse, the connection plug has very small barbs,so you have to pry the socket open a bit to unplug it.Once the cord is out cut the rubber part on the cord that connects to mouse that reinforces the cord.Cut it off on both side, pull out the remaining bits of wire. You have to enlarge the hole in the rubber grommet to reinsert the cord threw it,a heated wire the size of the cord works well to enlarge the hole.Run cord thew grommet splice wires, solder wires if you have a soldering iron makes the best repair, splice wires offset from each other,so they are not all sliced at same location.Use a good tape to isulate the spliced area on each wire, about 1/2 of tape per splice,Scotch Super 33+ Premium Vinyl Electrical Tape. Once you have taped each wire, tape all the wires together, for better isulation.Reinslall wire harness & test mouse.

YOU ARE HAVING IRQ AND DMA ISSUES
GO INTO CONTROL PANEL AND OPEN DEVICE MANAGER AND GO DOWN TO THE DEVICE YOU ARE HAIVING PROBLEMS AND OPEN THE FOLDER,
LOOK IN THE DEVICE STATUS, IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM IT WILL GIVE YOU SOME OPTIONS. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTION GIVEN TO YOU,

WHILE IN THE DEVICE MANAGER LOOK THREW ALL FOLDER AND MAKE SURE THERE ARE NO MARKING IN YELLOW,RED, ORANGE. IF YOU DO THAT MEANS YOU ARE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THAT DEVICE AND GET HELP ONLINE AND FIX THE ERRORS OR THE MACHINE WILL NOT WORK PROPERLY.

Want to open and clean Intellimouse w/ sticky left click button

there's 4 sliders on the bottom of the mouse. Remove the 2 feet closest to the optical sensor on the bottom. You'll find 2 phillips screws there. Remove those then pry the mouse open.

Wire Problem

Both Belkin and old mouse if compatible will have the universal plug so you may compare the wires first for their exact connection points on the belkin and mouse. If the points are same then irrespective of the colour code solder the points in the same order. If you are not sure of the comparison you have made then get assistance of the qualified service engineer to fix the problem.
