Question about Crunch Powerzone P2200 Car Audio Amplifier
I have a Crunch P2200 Powerzone.Lately,my fuse from my dc12v source bursted but the fuse on my P2200 was intact and okey.I later found out that R550 was burned (i dont know the value coz it was burned but measures 150 ohms. pls tell me the exact value)and C550 was cut open (i tested it & found okey so,I just resolder it back)
The problem now is that it has an audio but very weak (less power)
What is the function of the ic KA7500B does it has something to do with the problem or just the r550 changed resistance and did not have the right value anymore?
Thank you very much and more power!

I am having similar problems on my amplifier, because what happened on mine was i blew my sub for being a idiot by playing it too high and i decided to get a new sub, the new sub wasn't playing when i hooked it up with my amp, and i thought it was the leads so i messed around with them for two hours and it made no difference so i got my mates amplifier and hooked it up and now it works, the problem that i realized was that there is no live connection from the speaker output (although the amplifier itself works) this was the result of my sub blowing it must have messed up the chip or summat, so i advice check it out from someone if they can fix it because i am still trying to get someone to look at mine, or better yet return it to the person you brought it from :)

Check the outputs on the stereo. Maybe there's no audio signal going to the amp.

When all else fails, hook up the amp in your friends vehicle and see if it works. Also try hooking your subs up in stereo. Switch + and neg cables around and see if you get anything that way. Could be your speaker cables also. Run a direct connect: like take out the sub and run + and neg directly to the amp. If it works you know you have a wiring problem in the box.
