Microwave does not heat things up

This is usually from a part that fails. It is either the capacitor or the diode that controls the microwave generator. I would have it repaired because it is high voltage, you have to be able to test the parts. You need to be able to reassemble the unit

I have a Oster microwave Model #OM1201EOVG that I bought from Target on December 19, 2010. It just stopped heating. No matter if it is at 100%, it will not heat up. It has only been used for heating...

You say you bought it in 2010? That was 7 years ago. If you made a typo that's ok. If the unit is still under warranty , Oster will fix it. Otherwise you'll have to locate a replacement magnetron (part that generates microwaves). You may just have a blown fuse . One is for the electronics and another one id for the hi voltage transformer inside. You'll have to take off the cover to access the fuses.

Microwave is not make food hot

Hi.

The wave emitting part inside the microwave oven is called the magnetron. The waves emitted by the magnetron generate heat in food. When the microwave is running, turntable turns and light comes on but there is no heat it means that either the magnetron is faulty or the magnetron is not getting power. When the magnetron is not getting power parts such as the high voltage diode or capacitor must be tested or replaced. Testing and repair must be carried by a technician. Microwave work but will not heat

If will does not heat or boil water, then your microwave is defective even if it appears to turn on.

If you do not hear the 'usual' humming noise that the microwave normally makes when heating, then the Magnetron is most probably defective: if the unit is out of warranty, it will not be worth replacing as it is quite expensive.

Hope it helps!
