I got this crib from a relative and one of the plastic lever pieces that locks the drop side rail in place is missing. Now I can't put the rail in up position. Can I buy one of these pieces? Thank You.

Sounds like you have one of the cribs that was recalled for that very reason. They will send you the right parts for free to fix the 'drop side trigger lock' that was recalled, even if you didn't register the crib. This is their phone number: 1-800-816-5304,
This is the website http://www.deltacribrecall.com/
Hope that helps!
Products America can not provide parts for the Sorelle cribs however they should be able to provide you with contact information for the company. You can call 800-205-9642 or 800-772-1041 and speak with a customer service rep who would be more than happy to assist you in contacting the company.
gud morning..maybe you can put a replacement of the plastic piece that slides or snaps on and covers the entire top of each side rail, you replace it by puting a cloths on it..and make sure that the child is safe.
On the bottom of the front rail that drops (the drop rail), there are two plastic tension pieces (one at either end) that engage the two fixed, bottom rail slider hardware (the long, narrow pieces screwed top-and-bottom into the lower, inside portion of the tall, upright crib ends). These tension pieces are spring loaded, and the outer edge of each one rides along the outside (i.e., the parent's side) of the two bottom metal rail guides. Their purpose is to supply outward pressure against the lower part of the drop rail - that's what you push against when you press your lower leg upon the bottom of the drop side of the crib to lower it. They insure that when up, the drop side locks safely into place. I suspect these tension pieces are your problem. It sounds like they are improperly installed. Good luck.
Do not use this crib. This crib broke and caused my infant son of six months to get caught. He passed away on October 16th because of getting caught in this crib. I am trying to getting this crib recalled. Please Please do not use drop down cribs. They are entrappment devices for infants. 3 infants including my son have died in 2008 due to drop down side cribs. Please for your babies sake, take this crib back.
They do have answers on their website, you may want to check your printed or online crib instructions to remind yourself how you put the crib together, too.

i've pasted them below. You can make it a toddler bed without a side rail just by removing the movable side of your crib, and you can install the side rail instead of the movable side if you want it to look a little more finished and help keep your child from rolling out of the bed.
How to convert a crib into a toddler bed To
convert a crib into a toddler bed you must loosen the two front gold
bolts left and right side of the crib and remove the dropside (the
front gate that goes up and down). After removing the dropside be very
careful that you tighten back your two gold bolts.
How to install the streight rail (toddler rail) To install a streight (toddler) rail
loosen the two front gold bolts left and right side of the crib and
remove the dropside, once you have removed the dropside replace with
the streight rail. Always be very careful and make sure you tighten
back your two gold bolts in the front.
I have the same problem and I spoke to www.productsamerica.com at 1-800-772-1041 this morning and they said that the childesign is no longer in production as far as they know and no parts available. They also said no repair kits available will fit it. I am stomped as to whether I should just go out and buy another crib now.
