You know electronic devices are usually affected by liquid substance when they are at work.At the moment the tea poured on the system, should you have switched it off immediately, the problem would have been a minor one. However, since you left the system on, I think the system panel has been greatly affected and needs repair. You will need to take it for repairs, but you could try loosing the panel and drying it with a heater or by sun, then fix it back in place to see if it works,ok

Is it okay to use glass whistler tea kettle on ceramic stove top range

I've seen mixed results across the internet on this one. From personal experience, for some reason, my glass teapot left some sort of stain on my ceramic stovetop. It also took longer to heat. I then went out and bought a simple metal one and have been pretty satisfied. If cosmetics are a concern, it's not too difficult a step to pour the water into your teapot after the fact, right?

Power supply board have dead leakage gases componnents call capacitors. These capacitors are dead or will not work properly. These capacitors alway bulges up it top or puff up it top.U know basic electronic's and soldering?Take ur tv aparts.Go all around the power supply board searches for these bulges or puff it top capacitors.Replaced these leakage gases capacitors,ur power will return to normal functions, and work.Or tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

How to?

I unfortunately found this site to be unhelpful. :( I am doing a trial and error thing until I am able to figure this out on my own. I am using it similar to a coffee maker. I put two tea bags in, filled the water up to the water line, poured water into the top, fill the jug with ice to the fill line, plugged it in and pressed start.

Tv went off while watching a program power standby red light blinks 6 times then pauses then repeats tried unplugging unit waiting a few minutes then replugged same results nothing. can anyone help me ?...

Here's an excerpt from the Sony Manual online. And the link - http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/webtree.pl?template=EN&mdl=KDF55XS955&content_id=68&category_id=11&problem_id=52

The POWER/STANDBY (red) indicator flashes three times
If your power/standby indicator is flashing in a pattern of three flashes, this may indicates that the lamp cover is not attached securely. Follow the directions in the Operating Manual under changing your lamp that related to closing and securing the Lamp Cover. Ensure that the Lamp Cover Door is securely fastened by tightening each screw.

The POWER/STANDBY (red) indicator flashes continously
If your power/standby indicator is flashing continuously, and the lamp cover has been secured, your TV may be in need of service.

The POWER/STANDBY indicator is lit up green (not flashing)
A sustained green light indicates your TV is on.

The POWER/STANDBY indicator is lit up red (not flashing)
A sustained red light from your power/standby indicator simply indicates that your TV is in standby mode. This shows you that your TV is ready to be turned on with the remote.

Is it the power light and not the lamp light? If the lamp light is flashing then replace the lamp.

Tomtom one not poweringup

Lofty same just happened to me, following great deal of searching, my conclusion is that over voltage has fried regulator chip in tomtom, the reason you have green light is because at different part of power board. Approx repair cost if damage is not too bad (50% cannot be repaired) is £70.

TOMTOM will have a look for nothing, and give you a quote, if don;t want to proceed they will send it back for free also.

Good luck.
