Re: i bought a new computer, and downloaded this game...
There is a program that can read all installed CD-keys from your old computers hard drive. Just remove hard drive from old computer and install it to external case, docking station or even inside the new computer. If Act Of War Direct Action is there in the registry this program will find it. http://www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder/

For games bought physically (eg - go into a store and purchase the box), check the documentation in the box, the CD sleeve if the game was packaged inside a CD case or paper sleeve. Most software comes with a "software key", usually 25 alphanumeric characters.
If the game was purchased and downloaded online, check your email, if you registered for an account through the software vendor or game publisher/distributor. For a service like Humble Bundle, check your purchases and look for software key or redemption procedure.
If you bought a game through an online game service, they may have emailed you a key, or it is under the account settings on their web page. They probably have a 'where is my code' section on the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) on their page you can read. If you bought it in a store, it might be on the back of the manual if one came with it, or on the CD/DVD case.
I assume you are talking about the Microsoft operating system. The Activation (or Serial)-Number is usually located either on the installation media (outside of the CD Case), or if you bought a preinstalled Computer, there is usually a sticker underneath (in case of a notebook) or on the side of the computer.
If however you lost your Install Media, or the stickers are no longer there, then you have a problem. That is, unless the operating system is still installed. If that is the case, you can use a special utility to "read" the serial from the running system. One Utility to do this for Windows can be found here: http://www.magicaljellybean.com/downloads/KeyFinderInstaller.exe
This is the free version. It should work for all Windows Versions up to but not including Windows 7 and Office 2010 (there is a paid version on www.magicaljellybean.com that also covers those)
If you do no longer have access to the system, then retrieving a serial key is no longer possible.
To retrieve another legal serial, you would have to buy another Windows license.
Did you get these game from a second-hand store in which case the code might already be used by someone else? If not, I would recommend sending the customer service for Tribes Vengence an email asking for another code and explaining your situation.
Hope this helps!
the dealer needs to set the key code using the on board diagnostic computer.the body control module needs the signal
otherwise, thieves would simply plug in a new ignition to the existing harness and steal a car.
