There are a number of things that can cause interference for your wifi connection. Everything from the number of walls between you and your router, any other wireless items in your house from phones to baby monitors, and depending on how close you are to your neighbors, their equipment may interfere with yours. The type of wireless you are using can also effect your connection. The Wireless N standard provides for the best speed and connection strength, with the speed as much as 8 times faster, and the signal strength better by a factor of 4.If you are not already using the N standard I would definitely suggest switching over to that standard.
If you do have a clear path to your router, and are not really getting any interference from other equipment, it is possible that you have an issue with either your wifi card or router. I would make sure you have the most up to date drivers for both pieces of equipment as that will go a long way towards eliminating the problem.

go into control panel, open device manager, go down to wifi device check the drivers.
if that okay than go to control panel look wiki appt or bluetooth appt
and open it follow the instruction on hooking it up
it maybe under the networking and sharing center folder

hi,

First restart the laptop,if this step does not work,take out the battery plug the adaptor and start it if the second does not work the start usualy and connect external monitor to the laptop if works then your sceen is demaged.

My dell 1735 turns on but does not go past the log in. Jumps back to the start up screen.

If the F2 and F12 keys don't work, there's something wrong with the hardware. It could be as simple as a faulty keyboard or bad keyboard connection but my guess with the other problems occurring there is something more. You will need to contact Dell for in depth hardware
diagnostic

This could also be the harddrive failing.

Try visit a computer repair shop or a DELL autorized dealer/repair for detailed fault finding.

Where is the eject cd button on dell studio 1735


It is on the far right of the Media Control Buttons display.
You can see a layout of these buttons on Page 10 of the quick reference guide for your laptop.http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/1735/en/qrg/NU140A00MR.pdf

The button is a capacitive button (meaning it needs only your touch and doesn't make a "click" sound or feel)

Hi there! You can try to access Dell's special partition to for diagnostics so you can make sure if there is a hardware problem.


You can access it by Pressing F12 while the computer is booting up, then select boot to utility partition or diagnostics. It will give you an error after that it it founds one.

You mean you have no display in your monitor?If it is the problem. Then your computer has something wrong with it. Did it beep several times while you turn your computer on?There are different types of beeps and it gives different meanings. I suggest it is better to take your computer into a service center and have it check by a qualified technician. Comments please for further assistance. Thank you..:-)
