How to oil a standing Hunter fan

If the fan does not have 3-in-1 oil'r cap located near each end of fan, then lay fan down so blades are up. Then use WD40 with straw to spray on the turning shaft and let oil drip down for several hours.
You cannot over-oil a turning shaft, so plenty of WD40. Just be careful because air mist from WD40 is harmful to breathe and vapor is extremely flammable, so no smoking while spraying.

AUTOMATIC SHUT DOWN WHEN THE UNIT IS HOT

hi,
First you have to check the lamp cooling fan of your projector. If the lamp cooling fan of your projector is faulty or it runs in a low speed this problem can occur. Another possibility is the faulty temperature sensor. you have to check the temperature sensor near the lamp. normally a sensor with two wire fitted on the lamp Cage.
if fan is suspected then remove the fan and try to oil the fan and the re fix it and try again. for oiling the fan watch the following video.
The video is for oiling a pc fan you can follow the same to oil the lamp cooling fan
ok

Where to oil the outside condenser fan?

Most modern condensing fan motors do not need oiling and in fact have no oil ports. If you have an older one then there is probably 2 yellow "****" on the bottom of the motor that you pull out and drop in a few drops of oil. You have to remove the top of your condenser unit where the fan motor is mounted to and turn it upside down to access the oil ports.

Samsung rm255lash, evaporator fan motor on refrigerator side making loud noise. We took off the panels as best we could but it seemed like it was frozen on. When I open the fridge and hold down the light...

i quick fix would be to take a quart of oil and remove the fan motor and soak it in the oil. This wont hurt it anter a couple of min in the oil, hang up so that all the oil can drain off it, then wipe it down. install motor and try again, let me know.

Well its like i have an oil leak when im running on the freeway my oil pressure goes up and temp goes down but when i stop my oil pressure goes down and my temp goes up???...what could this be a valve...

Valve cover leak (oil) will not cause this problem, what needs to be checked is your radiator cooling fan, more then likely not working, that's why when your going down the freeway it don't over heat, you have air going through radiator, but when at stop, no air going through radiator to cool coolant before it goes back through engine, starts to get hot, and oil will also thin out, and have low oil pressure, check cooling fan's or fan, for voltage, should have voltage at normal oper. temp. about 210 - 220 deg., if you do have voltage and fan are not on, replace fan motor.

The fluid is pink instead of red for the cooling fan in my 2000 lincoln ls v8 I siphoned off the the tank and replaced with new fluid and it soon turned the same color

WHEN HYDRALIC FLUID BREAK DOWN WHILE IN USE CONTROLLING COOLING FAN.IT WILL TURN RED.THE ENGINE HEAT WHAT BREAK IT DOWN. LIKE ENGINE OIL. YOU PUT ENGINE OIL IN BROWN WHEN IT BREAK DOWN WHILE LUBRICATING ENGINE OIL BREAK DOWN IT WILL COME OUT DARK BROWN OR CLOSE TO A BLACK COLOR.

92 accord: oil light blinking when car overheated

Ok this one is kind of hard to diagnose but maybe I can give you some answers. The 2 problems you have work hand in hand. If you have low oil level the heat in your cylinder walls raises because there is not enough oil to lubricate the fiction caused by the pistons going up and down. Secondly if your car overheats it gets so hot that the oil gets really thin thus viscosity break down occurs. Your Honda has an electric fan on the radiator and if this fan is not working your car will overheat. Crank your car with the hood up and let it idle till the temperature gauge comes up and the electric fan should come on. You will be able to hear and see this happen. If the temperature guage keeps climbing and the fan has not come on then turn your AC on and see if the fan comes on. They are tied together and when the AC is on the cooling fan switch is bypassed and runs all the time. You also have a oil pump in your engine that keeps the oil pressure moving inside the engine. If this is going out it will cause the oil light to come on and make your engine overheat. I am sure you have checked the oil level and the coolant level in your car but if you haven't please do that. I hope this helps you out to find your problem. Oh yea if the coolant fan comes on when the AC is turned on then you have a bad sensor and you need to replace that. In any case I would not drive it until you figure this out because it will for sure cause engine damage. Good luck, Roger
