Question about KitchenAid KGSA906PSS Gas Kitchen Range
I have teh KGRA806 range. Same problem and this is the 2nd time. Piece of **** range is going to cost me more in repairs then range cost.
Sounds as if the thermal overload has gone bad. and it if thats the case, id check your installation. most common reason is the back plate (supplied with stove is not installed) unit needs to breath and the slotted bracket needs to be installed not flush up against custom counter top.(dont know if that's the case but its what i see most, if that isnt the case and your plate is installed i would call kit-aid, and talc ot a cust rep about the issue and how its the second time its happened , the y may cover te cost of repair for you. part number 8300802 parts about 50 bucks, and you could install it your self, just a bunch of screw to access the back panel.WITH POWER OFF TO THE UNIT LIVE WIRES!!!!!!. order ht enew part first and whr you remove the 10-12 screws and you gain acess torearof the unit itll be easy to spot, half way up inbetweeen the broil element.
